Brian
Eade
- Norfolk guitar hero, Brian,
stood in one evening while Mark went off to do the live sound
for a Russian ensemble in a contemporary music festival in Oxford
and we have been delighted to work with him a few times since
then. Brian's work will be familiar to many since he works often
as a soloist, in duets, including Straight Furrow, is the lead
singer and guitarist in Don't Spook the Horse, etc. etc. etc.
Of course, he fairly blistered along! Like Mark, Brian may frequently
be found performing at The Corner House in Wells on a Friday evening.

Steve
Pitts
- Possibly the only musician ever to get into The NotV lineup
without being grilled by Derek first! A gifted player with a strong
rock and blues background, Steve teaches guitar in Lincolnshire,
plays with Eddie Seales, Voodoo, Hiphugger and is in demand on
the eastern show treadmill. Steve recently contributed some gorgeous
guitar to the upcoming Beatroot EP playing alongside Ivan, John,
Derek and Paul.

Stefan Judd
- very fine young guitarist, bass player and drummer, out of the
finest rock-blues tradition. Good guitarists are always working
and Stef is no exception. His band, Envy
are one of the busiest bands in the area. He is also in great demand
as a teacher of guitar, bass and drums.
Stefan stood in on bass several times a few years ago. We were delighted
to welcome him back as a guitarist recently when Mark was unavailable.
He played beautifully, of course and was present at the notorious
fish and chip van incident in Great Massingham, which nearly cost
him his amplifier as the van drove away with the mains feed to the
outdoor performing area, dragging equipment off the back of the
stage, across the bonnet of Derek's car and away into the night. |
